I remember my brother and I unwrapping a Sega Master System II at Christmas when I was about 3 years old. It was my favourite system for a long time until i made the mistake of letting my parents take it to a charity shop when I moved on to the Saturn.
But one day I was walking down the city centre and saw a boxed SMS II in really bad condition in a shop window for £25 around 2003. I selected a few games they had which I owned as a child. Each time I went to the store to browse I always found myself buying random Master System games.
I had no internet access for a month during 2007 I was bored so I decided to take the Master System out of my attic. I soon found myself looking on eBay to find other games I had as a child and somehow came across this site and got to read more about the games and which ones were rare.
So after joining the forum and seeing other members' collections, especially Rupert's, it inspired me to start collecting. So since November 2007 I now have 179 games. Some of my favourites in my collection are Crash Test Dummies and Rescue Mission blister packs, Michael Jackson's Moonwalker pirate and prototype and Mickey's Ultimate Challenge, along with my boxed SMS II and the original games I bought back in 2003.
