Introduction

Hang On was the first game I bought for my Master system back in 1989 as I didn't want have a lot of money and wanted a decent game for my money.
Gameplay
The pictures speak a thousand words but in summary. This is a racing game in the style of Outrun where you need to reach the next check point before the timer runs out. There are difficulty settings to complete with each setting having 5 courses. Each course is 4km long and you get 60 seconds to complete it, if you manage to complete all five you then race on the same courses again for a further 7 time's when you complete them the timer gets shorter.
Graphics
Graphics are Spot on and look nearly as good as the Arcade in fact the scrolling is smoother than Super Hang-On on the Mega Drive. The sprites are clear and colourful.
Sound & Music
There's two sound tracks on the cart/card the first is the title screen and the second one is when you complete all five courses So while racing you listening to the sound of motorcycle engine's in Master System style. Other than the sound of crashing there isn't any other sound effects.
Controls
Button 1 is brake and button 2 is the acceleration up and down select the 3 gears. It's easy to control in fact it works really well which is the game's secret.

You will always have another go of this to try and beat a high score of just for the fun. It can get a bit repetitive after a long time but what game doesn't.
Conclusion
This was originally in the shops for £10 which was a third the price of other Master System games now the game is getting a bit of a following because it's a good game and plays well too. Fully recommended
